The Pertrach® is a cricothyrotomy and tracheostomy device that uses a patented splitting needle and dilator to perform a rapid and simple procedure in the most critical situations. It is ideal for use in the following situations:

• Failed orotracheal or nasotracheal intubation and/or fibre optic bronchoscopy
• Immediate airway control in patients with maxillofacial, cervical spine, head, neck and multiple trauma
• Endotracheal intubation is impossible and/or contraindicated
• Immediate relief of upper airway block
