History of Bound Tree Medical
Bound Tree Medical was founded in 1978 by David Courier in Henniker, New Hampshire. This small medical product supply company grew, acquired and merged over the following years with the result that the Bound Tree Medical that we know today is in effect an amalgamation of the following companies:
Bound Tree/ALS - East Coast and South West
Parr Emergency Products - Mid West
PMX Medical - West, South West, and Mid West
Sunbelt Medical (Rx Products) - Nationwide
Emergency Medical Products (EMP) - Nationwide
Tri-Anim Health Services - Nationwide
The ‘Bound Tree’ which is referred to in Bound Tree Medical’s corporate name has a historical significance to the community where the business was founded. The Bound Tree is recorded to have marked the border between Henniker and it’s neighbouring towns of Hopkinton and Warner from 1752 onwards.
